Director and Founder
Mark Hirsch
Denver based. He oversees operations, intake, and coverage for in-home ABA therapy across Colorado.
Mark Hirsch founded Budding Futures ABA so Colorado families could get in-home ABA therapy without a clinic commute or a long wait. He is based in Denver and runs the day to day side of the practice, from a family's first phone call through every milestone that follows. The clinical work belongs to Rachel Blackburn, BCBA. Mark's job is to make sure the coverage, the staffing, and the scheduling never get in her way.
"At Budding Futures, we are dedicated to cultivating skills that last a lifetime."
Mark Hirsch, Director, Budding Futures ABA Therapy
Background
- He founded Budding Futures ABA and built it around in-home care, so therapy happens in the rooms where a child actually struggles.
- He works out of Denver. The practice is based at 7900 East Union Ave, Suite 1100.
- He keeps the practice deliberately small. Caseloads stay intentionally lower, and families are not passed from therapist to therapist.
- The mission he built it on is short: empowering children, supporting families, building futures.
Approach
- He treats insurance as the agency's problem to solve. Benefits get verified up front, so a family knows what to expect before therapy starts.
- He staffs for consistency, because a child does better with a therapist who already knows them.
- He holds caseloads down on purpose. That is what keeps BCBA supervision time high rather than nominal.
- He answers plainly about cost and coverage. Benefits get checked before treatment, and nobody quotes a number the plan has not confirmed.
What Mark does
- He oversees daily operations and intake, so a family's first call gets a real answer.
- He owns the payer side. Budding Futures is enrolled with Health First Colorado under Provider Types 83 and 84, and works with major commercial carriers.
- He sets the hiring bar. Behavior technicians complete 40 hours of training and pass a competency assessment before meeting a child, and staff clear enhanced background checks with fingerprinting.
- He protects scheduling, which is why families can currently start without joining a waitlist.
- He is reachable directly at (720) 613-8837 and mark@buddingfuturesaba.com.
