Which Denver ABA providers offer in-home or center-based therapy?

The state files 48 of the 60 Denver providers under home-based services and 9 under center-based services. In-home ABA happens in your house, so therapy works on the routines that are hard right there, like meals, bedtime and getting out the door.

Center-based ABA happens at a therapy center or clinic. Kids get a set schedule and time around other children, and a parent handles the drive each day. Plenty of Denver providers do both, so the table shows every setting a provider lists.

Many of these providers are based around the Denver metro area rather than inside the city, with offices in places like Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Arvada, Commerce City and Longmont. In-home providers drive to you, so an office address matters less than the areas they serve.

Which Denver ABA providers work inside schools?

22 providers say their staff deliver ABA inside a school or classroom. Another 15 say they work with schools through IEP meetings or teacher support, without saying they go into the classroom.

In-school ABA usually works on classroom routines, communication and social skills. The school still decides who comes in. Denver Public Schools approved 3 of 28 outside requests for in-school ABA in 2023-24, Chalkbeat reported. Other metro districts said yes far more often.

Are there waitlists for ABA therapy in Denver?

Most don't say. 60 of 70 provider websites say nothing about a waitlist, and 9 say there isn't one. 1 more says there's little or no wait at most locations. None say they have one.

Openings change with staffing, so a line on a website is a starting point. Ask each provider for a start date in writing, and ask what has to happen first, like insurance approval and the first assessment.

How we built this list

• We started with the Pediatric Behavioral Therapies Provider List from Colorado's Department of Health Care Policy and Financing. It has 116 entries statewide.
• We kept providers whose service area names Denver (49), covers the whole state (6), or who list a Denver street address (5). 2 statewide listings say telehealth only; they're in the table but not in the 60.
• We added 8 providers that show up on the first page of Google for Denver ABA searches but aren't on the state list.
• That list is how Health First Colorado points families to providers for its pediatric behavioral therapies benefit, which covers applied behavior analysis (ABA) for kids.
• We read each provider's own website on September 14, 2026. A setting, age range or waitlist line counts only if the website says it. We didn't call anyone, and we don't rate or rank providers.
• Setting combines the state's home-based or center-based heading with what the website adds. Our own row uses the same sources, plus our current list of plans.
