In-Home ABA Services

In-Home ABA Therapy Across Colorado

Clinic commutes with a child who melts down in the car. Waiting rooms full of overstimulation. Rigid schedules that don't fit your family.

There's a better way. With in-home ABA, a trained therapist comes to you. The U.S. Surgeon General has identified ABA as an effective treatment for autism, and delivering it at home means your child learns in the place they feel safest, on a schedule that works for your household.

We also provide ABA therapy at schools (when allowed), daycares, and community centers. Your child gets consistent support across every environment.

What to Expect

What Does In-Home ABA Therapy Look Like?

A Budding Futures Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) comes to your home for daily sessions. Typical ABA programs involve 10 to 40 hours per week depending on the child's needs. There's no artificial clinic environment. Your child learns communication, potty training, getting dressed, and managing meltdowns right where those skills actually matter.

Sessions are play-based and follow your child's lead. If your child needs to practice asking for a snack, they do it in your kitchen. If they're working on tolerating a bath, they do it in your bathroom. Every skill is practiced in context, not in a sterile room they'll never see again.

A Budding Futures Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervises every plan. They design goals based on your child's assessment, review data regularly, and adjust the program as your child grows. You're never left wondering if it's working.

Why In-Home

Why Do Families Choose In-Home ABA?

No Commute Stress

No more loading up a child who's already dysregulated into a car seat. No more racing across town to make an appointment. Therapy happens in your living room.

Skills Transfer Immediately

When your child learns to ask for juice in your kitchen, that skill sticks. Clinic-learned behaviors don't always carry over. Home-learned ones do. And when your child is in school, our school collaboration keeps those skills consistent there too.

Parents Learn Alongside

You watch every session. You see what works. Your RBT coaches you on reinforcing goals throughout the day, and our parent training program gives you the tools to keep progress going when the session ends.

Your Care Team

Who Is on Your Child's Care Team?

We know letting a therapist into your home feels like a big step. That's why we're careful about who we hire and how we match families. Your child won't be working with a rotating cast of strangers.

Your RBT builds a real relationship with your child. They learn what motivates them, what triggers them, and how to bring out their best. And they're never working alone. A BCBA is always overseeing the plan, reviewing session data, and meeting with you regularly to talk about what's working and what needs to change. Learn more about how our methodology works.

Common Questions

Questions Parents Ask About In-Home ABA

How many hours of in-home ABA therapy will my child need?

Most children receive between 10 and 40 hours per week, depending on their age, needs, and treatment goals. Your BCBA will recommend a schedule during the initial evaluation and adjust it as your child progresses.

Will we have the same therapist every session?

Yes. Budding Futures assigns a consistent RBT to your family. Your child builds a real relationship with their therapist, and that consistency is key to making progress.

What if my child has a hard time with a stranger in the house?

That is completely normal. Our RBTs are trained to build rapport slowly, following your child's lead. Most children warm up within a few sessions, and parents are always present to provide comfort.
